Who’s not looking for a deal online?

We walked in to a local retailer the other day looking for a MiniDV camcorder. The salesperson was great. Went through all the steps of talking to us about the product, showing us comparisson, providing us with his recommendations, etc …

Something held us back from purchasing though.

Maybe because the pricing was over $500 and on top of that, the eager salesguy really really recommended their service place, extended warranty, product protection or whatever they called it for an additional $150 or so. Not putting down the extended warranty, but when was the last time you actually used one. Some devices I can definetly see it being used on though.

So … we decided to try online.

My wife spent Saturday morning research pro’s and con’s of the digital video recorder we were looking for online. We saved big! Not quoting any figures, but it worked out for us quite well. Yeah we won’t get it right away, but it’s well worth the wait!
